Sunday afternoons

We have been attending antenatal classes conducted by Thomson Parentcraft for these past couple Sundays.

The first session was an introduction to pregnancy, expectations and the benefits of breast feeding, followed by half an hour’s exercise.

Today’s session was about labour pain, symptoms and management. It also covered the types of pain relievers and ended with some exercises to control the labour pain.

So far, both classes have been highly informative. I always look forward to the last half an hour, the exercise session. Of course, although nothing very strenuous, but enough to ease the little cramps and aches.

Although I have read many books on the antenatal topic, nothing really beats a hands-on session.
